In terms of care and maintenance, it is recommended to flush the new filter for 5 minutes before use, and gaskets are not necessary for this filter replacement. Replace the filter every 6 months or if there are changes in water taste or flow reduction. It is also advised to turn off the water valve when changing the filter.
