To replace the cartridge: 1. Remove the cover from the filter. 2. Push down gently on the bio-holster to release the used cartridge. 3. Pull the tab on the cartridge upwards to remove it. 4. Rinse the new cartridge under cold water to remove any carbon dust. 5. Align the key slot on the new cartridge with the key slot on the biological grid and insert it into the bio-holster. 6. Replace the cover on the filter.
